Msgr. Michael Hogan

Vocational Life

Biography:

Msgr. Michael J. Hogan was born in Limerick, Eire.   He attended Regina Cleri Seminary and was later ordained at Holy Rosary Cathedral by Archbishop Monahan June 13, 1943.

He served in several parishes over his 67 years as a priest:  Estevan, Bienfait, Kenaston, Regina parishes Blessed Sacrament, Holy Cross, Christ the King, St. Cecilia and St. Martin de Porres.

He was Director of Education for the Schools of Religion in the Archdiocese.  He was appointed Vicar General Feb 25, 1975 until Nov 22, 1993.  He served as Diocesan Administrator April 20, 1994 until July 1995.

In 2009 he was elevated to Protonotary Apostolic Monsignor.
